Baubles

Hi - been wanting to try out my spellbinders die and the just rite stamps that complement them. Looking around blog land I decided to follow a couple of challenges I saw to create this card. The first was based around a colour challenge over at 52 Christmas card throwdown
Don't think I've ever made a card using this colour combination so was definitely a challenge for me. The second challenge was over at Crafty Hazelnuts where she doesn't want to see any snow!
Here is what I came up with - I added some colour to the stamped bauble using copics. The card blank I cut off a small a small strip on the front using a scalloped blade. I made a lovely double bow with ribbon from Grimsby Crafts  - Hope Kate appreciates my efforts lol. She attempted to show me how at Copics craft class yesterday but I struggled! Anyway after practise I am pleased with my bow now. (http://downrightcrafty.blogspot.co.uk/).

This picture shows the edging better. I added some hotfix rhinestones around the bauble and some bauble ribbon and a glittery peel off border - don't use many peeloffs nowadays but thought it needed something else. The backing paper was from my Christmas stash. I chalked the edges of the card using a soft brown .
I am entering my card in the following challenges -

craftyhazelnutschristmas-we dont want any snow
christmascardchallenges/use scallopes
pennyschallenges-113-ribbons-and-bows
