London 2012

Hi just had to join in with all all the Olympic challenges around and show my support for the wonderful Team GB. What a wonderful Olympic games we are having - I'm so proud to be British and hope all the rest of you around the world are enjoying London 2012. Here is my card I made to celebrate the Games.

These so cute mice are from Penny Black clear stamps - Love London. Sorry the photography is a little dark on the mouse carrying the Olympic torch but oh so cute. I coloured the images using copics and matted and layered using red card and a blue paper.

I cut the Team GB using a Tim Holtz Alterations die - Carnivale. and then coated the letters with glossy accents. The flower centres are a Union Jack button. I used my HotFix  heat gem setter to add the red, white and blue gems  to the top and bottom of the stamped image. Finally I added the red, white and blue ribbons through punched holes at the edge of the card.
All the papers used are from a 6x6 paper pad - Forever Friends - Best of British. I decorated the inside of my card and added the little Olympic Mouse torch bearer.
So just one more thing to say - "Best of luck to all the rest of Team GB for the rest of the Olympics."

I am entering this card in the following challenges and then will be posting it to support -
