Hi - here's a card for a friend who always has a welcoming piece of homemade cake when you go for a coffee. The set of stamps I have used I must have had for at least 2 years and this is their first outing - whoops!
The stamp set is made by Creative Expressions and is titled "Vintage Cooking" I used 2 Tim Holtz inks to distress around the edges of each square. All the papers are from the Hobby House - some are from
First addition paper - "Summer Breeze" and "Daydream" and the other from Craftwork Cards - Glitter Candy Cane Pad.
This is the inside of the card-sorry photography is wonky! Here I used another of the stamps from the set and one of Martha Stewart corner punches.
The individual stamps on the front I raised up and the sentiment is also from the set. I used a spellbinders die to showcase the sentiment and used two brads - a spoon and a food processor I have also had for ages, purchased from the Eyelet Outlet. I finished the card with a few gems.
This is the stamp I used on the back of my card, again from the same set. I love this and think it will be getting many more outings xxx

Easter Jumpers!
Hi - how time flies. Its already time for my next guest spot over at House Mouse Challenge Blog. This is my second card for them and I spoiled myself with a new stamp especially for it!
The challenge this fortnight is Springtime - this could be spring colours or spring related stamps.
The stamp I treated myself to is called "Will Knit for Friends". It is a wooden stamp and just the cutest ever My photography isn't the best but. how cute are those chicks! I coloured the image in using copics - my favourite craft pastime is colouring lol - got so many images coloured and not enough time to make them all into projects!
I used a Marianne Creatables die to showcase to showcase my Happy Hopper and chalked the edges lemon. The backing paper is from a craft cd but I have had it printed for so long I'm not sure which. The sentiment I stamped using my Just Rite stamps. The flowers are from the Hobby House at Tetney, as are the pearls. Finally added a lovely lemon and pink double bow.

Baby Star
My friend at work has just become a Granny for the 1st time. Her little Granddaughter was born 6 weeks early but is doing really well. This is a card to celebrate her arrival.
This stamp is from Crafters Companion - Party Paws - "Baby Bamboo" There are a range of stamps in the Party Paws range and all are so cute. I used a spellbinders die and inked the edges - I again used copics to colour the image.
I used another spellbinders die to make the ribbon slide and the "baby" blocks are a stamp from the same Party Paws set. The flowers are from The Hobby House and I added some gold gems around the backing oval. All the papers are from my stash.

Hoppy Easter!
Hi everyone - its time once more for another challenge over at Rubys Rainbow. This fortnight the challenge is Easter so as its not long till the Easter break I hope you can join us in celebrating this occasion with some wonderful creations.
For my Dt card I used a wonderful digi from Sassy Cheryl called "Dancing Easter Bunny" - sassy cheryl digis are great - why not pop and have a look for yourself.
The sentiment I made using my favourite JustRite stamps. Both images I coloured using my copics.
I used a spellbinders die to showcase my digi and then embossed some pale blue card using a cuttlebug embossing folder. I used micro beads down one edge. The flowers and butterfly are from the HobbyHouse. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter. Thank-you for coming over and looking at my card xx.

Dino Golf
Made this card for my cousins little boy. He has just taken golf up with his Dad so thought this stamp would be great.
The stamp is made by Whimsy Stamps and is called "Bart Goes Golfing". I used a spellbinders die to showcase him in and coloured him using my copics. I inked the edges and added some small dark green gems.
The backing paper is printed from a Popcorn Bear cd. I don't use the cd's I have enough - I often struggle to find the right papers so must make more of an effort to look through my craft cd's. The sentiment is from my stash and I finished it off with some green buttons sewn on with twine.

Neutrals
Hi - just a quick post tonight. I had a go at making a Christmas card this afternoon using neutral colours only. This was inspired by the the challenge over at jinglebellesrock.
My stamp is made by Inkadinkado and a used a beige versafine ink to stamp it. The sentiment is a digi from McMahon Five Designs. The backing paper is a Forever Friends one and all edges I have distressed with beige inks. It is hard to see from my photography but I have used Atyou glitter pens on the snowy areas. I finished off with some neutral flowers and some gold gems.

Singin' In The Rain
Saw a challenge over at craftycreationschallenges and knew I had just the stamp for it. This is a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp and is the first time I have used it.
It's been a great day for singing in the rain as its not stopped here most of the day! I coloured the image with copics and inked the edge with a Tim Holtz ink - weathered wood.
The stamp comes with the sentiment stamp as well. I triple mounted the sentiment using a spellbinders die.
The backing paper is one of the oldest I have and just shouted out to be used at last lol. The Happy Birthday is stamped and another Spellbinders die used. To finish I brightened up my card by adding lots of gems and a small blue bow.

I'm Still Smiling
Good morning all. I've been so excited waiting for today. I was chosen as a winner over at the House mouse challenge blog and part of the prize was to be a guest designer for them for March and April. I love House Mouse and friends so am absolutely thrilled to have this chance.
This fortnight the challenge is to use ribbon and pearls. You can use any House Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie image.
For my guest designer card I used a stamp from the set - Birthdays-ice-cream.
I coloured the image using copics and added some distress stickles (worn lipstick) to the icing to give it a bit of sparkle.
The backing paper is from a 6x6 pad called Love Letters. I used a cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder and the lace edging is made with a Martha Stewart punch. I added ribbon from my stash down the left and tied a lovely double bow. The flowers are made using a a tonic studio petal pairs punch and the sentiment is stamped on a tag cut from a spellbinders die.To finish off I added pearls to the flower centres, on the sentiment and on the lace edging.
Hope you can join in with the challenge - have fun xx
