You Can't Rewind Life

This snow is at least giving me plenty of time for crafting and I'm loving it. Going through my birthday book and getting a good start on all the birthdays coming up. My daughter is away at university and this card is for one of her house mates who is 21 soon. They are studing music and education and both play piano so this digi from KennyK was just right.

I have used copics to colour the image and used a spellbinders die to showcase her on. Its very hard to see but the backing paper actually has music manuscript on it. The digi is called Tori famous. This is the first time I have used her but definitely wont be the last.

The sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado and thought it went well as they are having such a great time at university.
I decided to create a tri-fold card and cut the 21 using some chipboard templates. I embossed some white card with a Happy birthday embossing folder and matted and layered the sides. I made the flowes using my new Petal Posie die and added some pearls and gems. Finally I added a happy Birthday sentiment.
I am entering this in the following challenges -

I love the way you have done this card. I have that embossing folder and struggle to use it so this is a great inspiration. Thanks for embossing along with Daring Cardmakers this week:)

Hi Susie....Love your fabulous card.
Good Luck with all the challenges you have entered. In answer to your question...Hardanger is a form of cut thread work....involves embroidery and then removing certain threads to create patterns. If I finish my pieces.....that's 'IF' I'll pop it on my blog and give you the nod.
Hugs Debbie x
